Bio

Jesse W. Owens joined Merle W. Owens & Associates in May 1995 after 19 years in residential construction sales and marketing. Owens has held sales management positions with nationally known builders, Centex Homes/Fox and Jacobs, Nash Phillips/Copus Homebuilders, Ashton Woods Homes, and Sovereign Homes Corp. (an affiliate of RCS Investments). During his career, Mr. Owens received numerous national and local awards and professional recognition for his contributions in target marketing and merchandising, as well as his innovative, motivational approach to sales management. 

Since joining Merle W. Owens & Associates, Owens has completed over 240 search assignments in banking and financial services, distribution/ supply chain, manufacturing, advertising, sales and marketing, broadcast/print media, multi-unit retail, hi-tech and others. 

He is past president/chairman of the Cowtown Executives Association, past chairman of Martin United Methodist Church Council, and past member Board of Directors of the Sales & Marketing Council Home & Apartment Builders Metropolitan Dallas. He is also a former board member of the Fort Worth Human Resource Management Association and member of the Texas Tech Ex-Students Association, Red Raider Club, Texas Tech Rawls College of Business Alumni Association, and TCU Neely School of Business Fellows Mentor. 

Owens received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas Tech University.
